Ho`onui Start a Small Food Business in HI Program Registration

Mahalo for your interest in our Small Food Business Startup Master Class Program. Our goal is to help you become informed and equipped to build a strong business with a good foundation. Our group will be small and intimate, allowing for a quality learning experience, group feedback and support. Please complete the following to sign up for the small food business startup group coaching program.


The Small Food Business Startup Master Class Program is a 4-week, 2-hour-per-week program that will include:

  • Business Ideation and SWOT Analysis
  • Business Model Canvas (1-page business plan)
  • Startup Cost Projections
  • Cost Production for Menu Item
  • 12-month Cash Flow Projections
  • General Requirements To Get Into A Commercial Kitchen

Upon receipt of your completed registration, an invoice requiring $600 payment will be emailed. Once payment is received, a confirmation email will be sent with the program schedule and login. Payment is DUE BY JULY 31, 2023 to get into the program.


ALL CLASSES WILL BE HELD ONLINE VIA ZOOM ON FRIDAYS FROM 10:00AM - 12:00PM:

  • AUGUST 4
  • AUGUST 11
  • AUGUST 18
  • AUGUST 25
  • AUGUST 31- in-person get together at 5:00pm.

Ho`onui LLC intends to run all program courses as advertised but reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course with short notice due to low enrollment, weather conditions, instructor illness, or other unforeseeable circumstances. If cancelled, courses will be rescheduled.


During our coaching sessions, periodic surveys will be conducted to check on progress, identify any issues and improve the quality of the program.


Because this is a group program, please respect each of the participants, contribute positively to discussions and refrain from foul language or demeaning comments. This group is a safe space for ALL PARTICIPANTS to share in confidence. Please do not divulge information to others that has been shared by group members.

Program Registration

By registering, I agree to:

1) Pay the required program fee (an invoice will be sent upon registration to be paid upon receipt) BEFORE BEING ABLE TO ATTEND THE PROGRAM.

2) Commit to attending all classes (unless extreme emergency circumstances prevent me from doing so and will reschedule the missed class).

3) Commit to doing the assigned homework.

4) Agree to the following standards of class conduct:

  • be kind and courteous
  • refrain from bullying or hate speech
  • respect other peoples' privacy by not sharing what's been discussed
  • refrain from side conversations
  • do engage in positive participation

5) Agree to allow Ho`onui LLC and its contractors to:

  • Take, store, edit and utilize photographs or video recordings of me taken during the program.
  • Promotional and other purposes related to the purposes of and activities of Ho`onui LLC. 
  • Release Ho`onui LLC from any liability for any infringement of any of my rights arising from the use of the photographs and/or video recording.
  • I understand I can contact Ho`onui LLC at any time to withdraw my consent so as to prevent any future use of photographs or video I am identifiable.

6) Ho`onui LLC intends to run all courses as advertised but reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course without notice due to low enrollment, weather conditions, instructor illness, or other unforeseeable circumstances. If so, we will offer a reschedule or (as mentioned above; under extreme emergency circumstances, a prorated refund of a paid registration).
